Please join us for a walking tour of the Ann Siang Hill heritage area with a Singapore national parks guide. Learn about the history of Singapore as well as the trees and heritage buildings in this picturesque corner of Singapore right next to the popular Ann Siang Road restaurants.
About the tour:
Near the mouth of Singapore River, once the heart of Singaporeâ€™s commercial activity and entrepĂ´t trade, Ann Siang Hill is central Singaporeâ€™s history, growth and development. This trail takes you to several historical landmarks and national monuments.Â Learn about the trades and lives of Singaporeâ€™s early immigrants in this outdoor walking trail around a quiet enclave amidst bustling Chinatown. Visit places of worship and old shophouses built in the 1800s, and take a close look at interesting fruit and spice trees planted along the way. Donâ€™t miss the old well at the foot of Ann Siang Hill, from which residents used to collect fresh water.

Registration is required for this event and will close one week before on August 18th.
Please note it is an outdoor tour and involves quite a lot of walking so do wear comfortable shoes and prepare for the Singapore weather.
