Shakespeare in the Park returns to Singapore with the greatest love story ever told â€“
Romeo & Juliet!
2016 marks an important year for Shakespeare as the world commemorates the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeareâ€™s death. Hence, as part of an extra special Shakespeare in the Park, Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is proud to be staging Romeo & Juliet, a well-known tale of sweet forbidden love, a bitter family feud and a timeless romance eternally sealed in a kiss.
Come join us this May for the largest locally produced cultural event in Singapore. A very contemporary production, of one of the most know love-stories of all times. Fantastic creative team around Director Daniel Slater from London and a solid local cast with veterans like Remesh Panicker and Daniel Jenkins, giving weigh to our young leads, Thomas Pang and Cheryl Tan.
Revel in a classic tale of star crossed lovers with a picnic under the stars.
