Dear Members and Friends,

If you missed the chance to do something good for Planet Earth when SAS cleaned up Pulau Ubin in March 2019, here comes another opportunity with a Beach Cleanup. Definitively an eye-opening and rewarding experience for max. 1.5 hours with the team of Samuel Gmehlin, the Swiss President & Founder of the volunteering organization who does regular cleanups on Pulau Ubin.

Don’t hesitate to forward this event to your friends! Families with kids are more than welcome to join. This is a great way for children to learn the importance of keeping our planet clean!

Date and Time:
Saturday, November 9, 2019
2.45pm – 4.45pm (the cleanup itself will not exceed 1.5 hours)
After the cleanup feel free to stay for some drinks and bites at the Sembawang Seafood Restaurant.

Registration Deadline:
Sunday, November 3, 2019

Meeting Point:
At 2.45pm in front of Beaulieu House (Sembawang Seafood Paradise), 117 Beaulieu Road, Singapore 759837

Transportation:
Red line MRT to Sembawang MRT station, then bus 882 to Sembawang Park.

What to bring:
You are responsible to bring your own equipment and tools such as garbage bags, gardening gloves, good shoes, water, mosquito repellent and sunscreen. We will also help by providing some bags and gloves. If you’ve got trash pickers or BBQ tongs, please bring them along, it can help too.

Fundraising:
Pulau Ubin Cleanup Foundation is raising funds for equipment and materials for upcoming and future events via the Go Get Funding page here! Any donation would be much appreciate. Remember you are helping to make this world a better place!

So we look forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,
Daniela
