Mixed Blessings

This trail will lead visitors to the discovery of the religious and cultural diversity of Singapore. Telok Ayer Street is one of the oldest streets in Chinatown. It was here that the early immigrants arrived from China, India and other countries. Thian Hock Keng Temple, Al Abrar Mosque, Nagore Dargha Shrine and Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church are witnesses of this rich cultural past. We will visit these monuments to understand their history, their architecture and their social value. We will meet at 09.30. The tour will take around 1.30 – 2.00 hours. We will meet at Telok Ayer Street facing Thian Hock Keng Temple at 09.30.
