We start our tour at the foot of the Henderson Waves, the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. After climbing up the stairs we cross the bridge and stroll through the Telok Blangah Hill Park towards the Forest Walk. This steps-free elevated walkway zig-zags trough steep slopes of hilly terrain and leads us towards Alexandra Road and the Gillman Barracks. Time to enjoy Singapore’s green and more quiet side.
Please take note that this will not be an officially guided tour!
If you have time, let’s have lunch at the lovely Red Baron Cafe and Bakery at the Gillman Barracks (to be paid upon consumption). They not only serve all day breakfast, but also salads, pasta and sinful cakes.

Time: 10.30 am – approx. 12.00 pm
Fees: $ 5 for members, $ 8 for non-members (can be paid cash)
Meeting point: At the “Bef Telok Blangah Hts” bus stop on Henderson Road, next to the stairs.
What to bring: Umbrella, sunscreen, mosquito spray, water and a hat. You can wear Flip-Flops.
Registration deadline: Monday, 25 April 2016.
Cancellation after deadline or no show will be charged full amount.
