Dear Members and Friends,

With the famous Deepavali festival in full force right now, why not join a cooking class to learn and taste delicious authentic Indian dishes with Vida, a Singaporean Indian cooking teacher?

Venue: Near Botanical Garden (Address to be communicated after registration)
Date & Time: Saturday, 5 December 2020 – 4 pm to 7 pm

This interactive class includes recipes of the dishes taught, useful hands-on cooking tips, and preparation of the dishes. The class will ends with a sit-down dinner with the dishes prepared during the class.  As it is the tradition during Deepavali, the dishes will be served on banana leaves.

Aromatic chicken with almonds and cardamoms curry
Palak Paneer (Indian cheese with spinach)

About Vida
Vida is a Singaporean Indian lady who lived in Europe for many years and has over 30 years of cooking experience. Her father, a wonderful cook who never gave his secrets away, when asked how he prepared a particular dish would always say: “Just throw everything in a pan, fire left and right and serve it!”. Of course, cooking is not that simple but the recipes that she teaches are easy to achieve, without losing those very distinctive flavors of Indian food.

Fee:

Non-Members: 88 SGD

Notes:
Please note that due to the Singapore Government’s regulations, only 5 people (including the host) are allowed to get together. Therefore, registration is mandatory if you wish to attend this event.
