Join us to Bukit Brown, one of Singapore’s hidden gems!
Dear Members and Friends
Come and discover the greenery of Bukit Brown cemetery!
Guide Andrew Lin will lead us to through the lush nature of the old cemetery which has been abandoned since its closure in 1973. Many famous Chinese pioneers were burried at Bukit Brown such as Chew Joo Chiat and Chew Boon Lay.
Guide Andrew will tell us more about these people and about Bukit Brown’s history. He also knows some mysterious stories and the most beautiful hidden spots of this jungle-like cemetery.
We will reach Bukit Brown at around 6.30pm, when it is still bright and walk through the impressive landscape in the beautiful evening light while sun slowly goes down. Don’t miss this unique Bukit Brown magic!
- We will meet at Adam Road Food Centre and take a public bus together to Bukit Brown,
- The tour will be around 2 hours and it is recommended to wear good shoes, since we really dig into the jungle.
- After the tour everyone is free to leave either from Bukit Brown or take a publicbus back with Andrew to Adam Road Food Centre for a dinner.
- 8 people are allowed to join the tour and we will have to walk in groups of 2.
