700 years Singapura exhibition
Experience Singapore’s transformation through the ages as it went from a humble fishing village to the pride of an empire, before finally achieving the status of being an independent nation-state as it is today. This immersive exhibition brings you through a riveting exploration of Singapore’s history as you will find yourself placed right in the midst of the nation’s defining moments. The exhibition consists of six sections, Archaeology in Singapore, Ancient Singapore (1300–1818), Colonial Singapore (1819–1942), Syonan-To (1942–1945), Road to Merdeka (1946–1965) and Independent Singapore (1965–1975).
Date: Thursday, 6 August 2015, 10 am – approx. 11.00 am
Meeting Point: National Museum, 93 Stamford Road, Singapour 178897, please arrive 10 minutes earlier
Fees:Â SGD 8.00 for children, SGD 10.00 for members and SGD 15.00 for non-members which can be paid on the same day in cash (please bring the correct amount); please take note that you do not have to buy any entrance tickets!
Registration deadline: Wednesday, 5 August 2015 Your registration will be confirmed by email.
Cancellation after deadline or no show will be charged full amount.
